About KittyUI Theme

KittyUI Theme (kittyuitheme.com) is an independent site about the KittyUI theme for Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO phones. I am Basanta. I tested KittyUI v4 on my own Redmi Note 14 5G Global running HyperOS 3.0 for about a month of daily use. NVX Boss designs the theme. Xiaomi lists it in the Theme Store. I write the pages on this site.

This is not the official KittyUI page, and it is not a download site. The theme file stays on the Xiaomi Theme Store. I do not host the .mtz file, a theme APK, or a modified copy.

What this site publishes

The main guide is a first-person review of KittyUI v4 on HyperOS 3.0. The second guide is the install and apply walkthrough, including the CAT17 lockscreen password. Both pages separate what I did on my phone from anything I did not do.

The phone behind the guides

Every result I call my own comes from one device: a Redmi Note 14 5G Global on HyperOS 3.0. I used KittyUI v4 as my daily theme for about a month. I installed it from the official Theme Store with the Themes app. I did not root the phone, and I did not use a computer.

On that phone I checked:

  • The Theme Store install, including the handoff from MI Browser to the Themes app
  • A restart after applying the theme
  • The CAT17 password at Themes app → Profile → Lock Style → Customize → Password
  • The lockscreen, charging animation, and the battery, health, and clock widgets
  • The Dynamic Island-style widget on the lockscreen for music, calls, and charging
  • Icons, the control center, the stock dialer, and the Wi-Fi and battery status icons
  • Depth-effect wallpapers, including a toggle that restored the effect after a Theme Store update
  • A lockscreen notification area that sometimes showed the stock HyperOS style until I locked and unlocked the phone

I did not measure battery use, heat, or speed against the stock theme. I did not test a second phone, another HyperOS version, a custom ROM, or the third-party MTZ Installer. I also have not published a confirmed removal test back to the Default theme. Those gaps stay labeled on the guides.

Is this the official KittyUI site?

No. Search results sometimes mix fan pages, download blogs, and the real Theme Store listing. KittyUI Theme is a written record of one phone. If you want the theme, open it in Xiaomi's Themes app from the official store link. If you want the designer, that is NVX Boss. If you want the test notes, you are in the right place.

How to read my byline

When a page says tested by me, I did that step on the Redmi Note 14 5G Global. When it says not tested by me, I am passing on a reader report or a tool's own instructions, and I have said so in the sentence. If a paragraph and a label ever disagree, trust the label and email me. The correction page explains what I change after a report.

Independence

As of 31 October 2026, NVX Boss, Xiaomi, and the MTZ Installer project have not paid me for a review, a link, or a placement. Outbound links are there so you can open the Theme Store or read a source I cited. The advertising disclosure says what happens if that ever changes: https://kittyuitheme.com/disclosure/

Who the pages are for

The pages are for someone with a Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phone who wants a plain account of KittyUI v4 before installing it. They are a poor fit if your phone has no Themes app, if you want the theme on a Samsung, Realme, OPPO, or other non-Xiaomi phone, or if you want a file to sideload. I would rather send you back to the default theme than guess about a phone I have not held.

How to reach me

Email classytechstudio@gmail.com. Include the page URL if you are writing about a mistake. For a phone result, include the model, whether it is a Global unit, the HyperOS version, and what you saw. Please do not send your lock screen PIN, your Xiaomi account password, or a verification code. I cannot log in to your phone, and I will not ask to.

Questions people ask

Who runs KittyUI Theme?

I do. My name is Basanta. I publish kittyuitheme.com and I tested KittyUI v4 on my Redmi Note 14 5G Global.

Who designed KittyUI v4?

NVX Boss designed the theme. Xiaomi distributes it through the official Theme Store. I am not NVX Boss, and I do not work for Xiaomi.

Which phone was the theme tested on?

A Redmi Note 14 5G Global running HyperOS 3.0, used as my daily phone for about a month. I have not published results from any other device.

Does this site offer the KittyUI download?

No. I do not host the .mtz file or an APK. The copy I installed came from the Xiaomi Theme Store.

Is the site affiliated with Apple?

No. KittyUI v4 imitates an iOS-style look. Apple does not make the theme, and Apple does not run this site. iOS and Dynamic Island are Apple names. I use them so you can recognize the look, and I call the widget Dynamic Island-style because it is not Apple's feature.
