Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what KittyUI Theme (kittyuitheme.com) collects when you read the site, send an email, or leave a comment, and what I do with it. I am Basanta, and I publish the site. You can email me at classytechstudio@gmail.com. I do not publish a street address.
The date on this page is 31 October 2026. On that date the site was running WordPress 7.1.4. I had not added Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, or advertising cookies. If that changes, I will update this page before the new tool goes live.
Who is responsible
Basanta is the person responsible for this site and for the personal information it holds. KittyUI Theme is the name of the site, not a separate company in this policy. Privacy requests go to classytechstudio@gmail.com.
What the site collects when you browse
Reading an article does not require an account. I do not run a signup wall, and I do not ask you to create a profile to read a guide.
The company that hosts kittyuitheme.com may keep standard server logs. Those logs can include your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the time. I use that kind of log only if I have to look at abuse or a broken page. I do not run a separate analytics product on top of it. The host decides how long it keeps logs. I do not.
Before a page loads, the host may show a short screen that asks you to wait while the request is verified. That check can store a short-lived cookie so it does not stop you on every click. I do not use that cookie to recognize you for articles or ads, and I am not printing the cookie's name here because the host chooses it and can change it.
Email you send me
If you email classytechstudio@gmail.com, I receive the address you wrote from, your message, and any attachment. I use that to reply, to fix a page, or to handle a privacy request. I do not add you to a newsletter. There is no mailing list on this site as of 31 October 2026.
Please do not email your phone's lock PIN, your Xiaomi account password, or a one-time verification code. I do not need them, and I do not want them. If you send them anyway, ask me to delete them and I will.
Comments
Comments are open on posts. The form asks for a comment, a name, and an email address. A website field is optional. The form says your email address will not be published. That matches what I do: the name and the comment can appear on the page, and the email stays off the page.
WordPress also stores the commenter's IP address and browser string with the comment. I use those to fight spam. I do not publish them.
If you tick “Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment,” WordPress stores those three fields in cookies on your browser for about 347 days, which is the WordPress default. If you do not tick the box, it does not need to store them.
Commenter pictures come from Gravatar (gravatar.com). When a comment is shown, your browser asks Gravatar for an image. The request uses a scrambled form of the email address, not the address in plain text. Gravatar still sees the image request and your IP address. If you have no Gravatar account, Gravatar usually returns a default image and still receives the lookup.
Emoji images
WordPress on this site can load emoji images from WordPress.org (s.w.org). When a page shows an emoji that way, your browser requests the image from WordPress.org. WordPress.org then sees your IP address and the image address. The emoji script itself is served from kittyuitheme.com. I added no separate tracker for this.
Cookies
The cookie policy lists the WordPress cookies this site may set and the advertising cookies it was not using on 31 October 2026: https://kittyuitheme.com/cookie-policy/
What I do not do
- I do not sell personal information
- I do not rent it or trade it with data brokers
- I do not use it to build an advertising profile
- I did not run Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, or an ad cookie on the public pages I checked on 31 October 2026
- I do not buy email lists, and I do not send promotional email
If ads or analytics are added later
If I add a statistics tool or an ad network later, that company would receive technical data such as your IP address and pages viewed, under its own policy. I will update this page and the cookie policy first, and I will say near the top of both pages that the tool is on. I will not quietly add it and leave this date in place.
Why I keep information
If you live somewhere that requires a legal reason to use personal information, the reasons I rely on are practical ones. You sent an email or a comment and I need it to reply or to publish the comment you submitted. The host keeps logs so the site can stay up and so abuse can be investigated. I keep a correction email so a published mistake stays fixed and I can show why the sentence changed. I do not use your information for ads.
How long I keep it
- Comments stay on the post until you ask me to delete them or I remove them under the comment rules in the terms
- Email stays until the question is finished, and longer if I need it as the record of a correction. You can ask me to delete it
- Comment cookies last about 347 days unless you clear them sooner
- Host logs follow the host's schedule, which I do not set
- Editor login cookies exist only for my own WordPress sessions
Your choices
Email classytechstudio@gmail.com and tell me what you want. You can ask me to:
- Send you a copy of the comment or email I hold about you
- Correct a name or a sentence that is wrong
- Delete a comment or an email thread
- Stop using an email address you sent me
I will reply when I can, usually within a few days. I may ask you to write from the same address so I know the request is yours. I will not ask for your phone PIN to prove it. You can also contact the data protection authority in your country. This page does not remove any right that authority gives you.
Children
The site is written for people who set up their own phone. It is not directed at children under 16. If you are a parent and you believe a child sent me personal information, email me and I will delete it.
Where the information is handled
I publish the site from wherever I am working. The host may keep servers in another country. I do not control the host's location, and I do not pretend the servers are in a country I have not confirmed. If you email me, that message is handled by me and by whatever mail provider sits behind the address.
Changes to this policy
If I change what I collect, I will change this page and the date under the title. The old date is how you can see that you are reading the current version. Continued use of the site after the date changes means you are using it under the updated page.
